Bomba Estéreo & Will Smith “Fiesta (Remix)”

Bomba Estéreo & Will Smith‘s new collaboration “Fiesta (Remix)” has hit #1 on the Billboard ‘s Latin Pop Digital Songs chart. The artists will premiere the remix at the Latin GRAMMYs 2015. The Latin GRAMMYs air November 19th live from Las Vegas on Univision Network.

The official music video for “Fiesta (Remix)” was directed by Carlos Pérez and filmed in Los Angeles. Watch a behind the scenes clip from the “Fiesta (Remix)” music video shoot which tells the story behind their new collaboration with Will Smith.

Smith, who initially discovered Bomba Estéreo during a recent visit to Colombia, fell in love with the “electro tropical” style that Simón and Liliana are known for and was thrilled to collaborate. The music video for the remix was recently filmed in Los Angeles and will be released shortly.

The original track “Fiesta” is currently nominated for “Record of the Year” in the 2015 Latin GRAMMYs. Billboard described “Fiesta” as a “party anthem dripping with bass and champeta” while The Guardian (UK) called it “as much of a heater as they’ve ever released.” “Fiesta” is featured on the group’s latest album Amanecer, nominated for “Best Alternative Music Album” in the Latin GRAMMYs.

Rolling Stone says: “Musicians from all over Latin America are fusing old school folk sounds with modern electronic and rap styles… the leaders of the scene are Bomba Estéreo.”

Bomba Estéreo is an international touring machine with recent dates on the world’s biggest stages. The group have toured across 40 countries, four continents and played major festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Sonar, Roskilde, Vive Latino, among many others.
